About
Our journey to Mali began a long time ago. Since a young age we have both felt a desire to serve those in need all over the world. In high school and college, we went on various trips to see for ourselves what happening in the world. Eventually, we met in college, fell in love and married after graduation.
Before heading out to a far away place, we decided to take some time and make an investment in a community. For the last 5 1/2 years we served the community and families of Lemont, Illinois. During this time we have also considered it a privilege to have built so many relationships in our great community. In the fall of ‘08 we began to follow our life long dream to serve those in need. Since then, God has used all of our gifts, preparation and desires to guide us toward the country of Mali. Now we are holding on for the ride and trusting Him every step of the way.
